12:00PM: SMU struggled in the first half against Clemson in the ACC Championship while Penn St hung with Oregon going shot for shot against them. SMU’s run defense is very good which Penn St likes to do. But what they discovered in the Big Ten Championship game, they can throw the ball to the running backs and create big plays. Clemson was able to move the ball in the first half and create turnovers. Penn State can do the same thing with their defense and their revamped offense. SMU also has to deal with the crowd early on which will be a factor in the first half. I do think Penn State wins this game and probably covers as well.
