4:30PM: Cincinnati is desperate and they control their own destiny today. Win and their hopes are still alive, lose and their season is over. They got the result they wanted last week and now need it again this week. Denver has not looked great over the last 2-3 weeks. I think this is a good scenario for the Bengals. It is also telling that a team who is 7-8 is favorite over a team that is in a playoff clinching scenario. Give me the desperate home team today.

Seahawks/Bears over 42.5 (-110)

8:15PM: Bears defense has fallen apart to end the year. Giving up 30 or more points in the last 3 games and 4 of the last 5. Seahawks have given up 20 points or more on the road 3 times, twice to lowly offenses, Jets and Patriots. Bears offense is very slow in the 1st half, so might take the Seahawks 1st half spread as well, but they tend to pick it up the 2nd half. Both teams have playmakers in order to go over this number. Weather doesn’t look too bad in Chicago with a small chance of rain and pretty mild. I’ll take both teams scoring points.

Pittsburgh Steelers +2.5 (-110)

1:00PM: Steelers have lost 2 in a row including a game against the Ravens on Saturday. Now that 2 game lead over the Ravens in the AFC North is gone, these two teams are now tied for the lead. Huge playoff implications today as it could determine who gets to host a playoff game and who has to go on the road in the first round. Chiefs are still winning and they are coming off of 2 wins that they were in complete control in. With this small line, Chiefs backers are going to be all over this. Pittsburgh is a tough place to play for visitors. Steelers are also getting George Pickens back today which should help their passing offense. I’ll take the home dog in this one.

Saints/Packers under 43.5 (-110)

8:15PM: Packers have a great defense and the Saints offense without Derek Carr has been atrocious this season. I also like this pick because over 80% of the money is on the over. This game is also in Green Bay where it should be cold. Running game should be a big play to keep the clock running and I don’t see the kicking game being used in long distance.
