1:00PM: This whole game is a hold your nose type of game, 2 bad teams. Browns are coming off a bye and the Saints are coming off a win with the interim head coach against the Falcons. Browns can run the ball and the Saints can’t stop the run. A little bit of revenge here as well for Jameis Winston being the back up for them for a couple years. I’ll take the Browns in this ugly game.
4:15PM: Missouri is not a good football team definitely over ranked being number 23 in the rankings. Missouri has struggle this year with a lot of close wins including last week only winning by 7 against Oklahoma. Missouri also struggles against running teams and mobile quarterbacks, losing 34-0 to Alabama and 41-10 to A&M. South Carolina has both. There’s also an argument SC should be 8-1 with close losses to Alabama and LSU where they were leading late in the games. This is a huge spread between 2 ranked teams which is saying something.
9:00PM: UCLA has been sneaking under the radar in the last 4/5 weeks, winning 3 in a row. Washington has been up and down all year, pretty good at home and pretty bad on the road. This line opened at Washington -8 and now it is down to 4.5, that’s even with 2/3 of the money on Washington. UCLA have been the travel kings this year seemingly bouncing back and forth from west coast to east coast and seemingly all over the country this year. So they are used to playing on the road. GIve me the hotter team in this matchup.
8:15PM: Eagles are playing only the 4th game at the Linc tonight. Thye have won 5 straight but yes 4 of the 5 games have come against crappy teams and crappy quarterbacks, so this will be a real test. This line being more than 3.5 is telling, I figured it would be around 2.5 or 3. The Steelers definitely helped with the gameplan last week on how to slow down Jalen Daniels. I’ll take the home team in a Thursday night game.
10:00PM: Lakers just played the Grizzlies last week in Memphis and lost by 17 points and now they are a 7.5 point favorite. Mostly due to Ja Morant and Desmond Bane being out for the Grizzlies. I think the Lakers want some quick revenge. There was a decent amount of trash talk and chippyness in that last game between the teams. Not much love between the players here. I think Lakers control this game at home.
9:00PM: One of the good games in the young college basketball season so far. Duke has 2 of the top freshman and have a lot of hype coming into this year. Kentucky basically ran Calipari out of town and hired Mark Pope. Two different types of coaches including how they build a team. Neither team has played a viable opponent yet this year so this should be a good test to see where they are heading into Feast Week.
