7:00PM: Riding a hot team here. Delaware finished the year 1-11 and finished 12th in the CAA. They have since won 4 in a row to get to the championship game tonight. Wilmington did not look great last night in scoring the basketball. Could be all the pressure on Wilmington as Delaware is just playing with house money.
9:30PM: Cleveland St started the Horizon league season with a loss and then rattled off 11 wins in a row. Since that hot start, they finished the season 3-5 and getting the 2 seed. Youngstown St is very similar to Cleveland St, finishing the Horizon league at 13-7, only 1 game behind them. Cleveland St has the better defense between these 2 teams and their offenses are very similar but Cleveland St plays at a slower tempo. If Cleveland St can play the defense they are capable of, they can slow down Youngstown and win this game to advance to the championship game.
2:10PM: Missouri Valley Conference Championship. Both of these teams probably deserve a tournament bid, they are that good. Like basically all of the games in the MVC tournament, I think this game is going under and will be tought to score points. CLose game to me favors the dog in a championship game. This game is going to be tough but will be a great watch. Ride the dog in this championship game.
3:45PM: Indiana is on the bubble so they need to stack up wins. Today is also senior day for them as well as Mike Woodson’s last home game after he decided to step down. Ohio State is a very up and down team and have won their last 2 games. Indiana did win 3 in a row before losing on the road to Oregon last week. They need a good win before heading into the Big Ten Tournament next week and hopefully get some momemtum to go on a run to make the tournament.
10:00PM: New Mexico is leading the Mountain West only by 1 game over Colorado St. with the final game being tonight. New Mexico needs a win tonight at home to clinch the Mountain West title. UNLV has won 6 of the last 7 games while New Mexico has gone 2-2 in the last 4 games. One team is hot and the other not so much. But the not hot team is favorite by double digits today. This is a good chance to get back on track for New Mexico headed into the postseason and a chance to win a regular season title at home.
8:00PM: I have been betting against Michigan St. for what seems like a month. Just never really bought into them. Finally turning the tide. This team is very good, especially on the defensive end. They are able to keep the game close for the 1st and half of the 2nd half. They really turn up their defense in the late 2nd half. In their last game against Wisconsin, Wisco had 60 points with 4 minutes remaining and finished with 62. In their last game against Michigan, they had 62 points with 4 minutes remaining and finished with 62.
