UNLV has won 6 of the last 7 games while New Mexico has gone 2-2 in the last 4 games. One team is hot and the other not so much. But the not hot team is favorite by double digits today. This is a good chance to get back on track for New Mexico headed into the postseason and a chance to win a regular season title at home.

8:00PM: I have been betting against Michigan St. for what seems like a month. Just never really bought into them. Finally turning the tide. This team is very good, especially on the defensive end. They are able to keep the game close for the 1st and half of the 2nd half. They really turn up their defense in the late 2nd half. In their last game against Wisconsin, Wisco had 60 points with 4 minutes remaining and finished with 62. In their last game against Michigan, they had 62 points with 4 minutes remaining and finished with 62.

7:00PM: St. Bonaventure and UMass are tied in the A10 standings at 7-9. UMass is 1-4 in the their last 5 and all 4 losses have come by 9 points or more. The Bonnies are coming off a loss to St. Joe’s and are 2-4 in the last 6 games. Even though these 2 teams are tied in conference standings, St. Bonaventure has 7 more wins on the season than UMass. I’m riding a team that is coming off a loss and is the better overall team.

9:00PM: Iowa St is at home tonight against BYU. BYU has been rolling, winning 6 straight including 2 ranked wins and 1 on the road. Iowa St has come losing 2 of the last 3 including a bad loss against Oklahoma St. There’s no reason a team that has been rolling and climbed up to number 23 in the rankings should be a 8.5 point dog tonight. This is a huge number for this game and which is why I like Iowa St.

9:00PM: UCLA is safely in the tournament at this moment but they need to keep winning to improve their seed. Despite their difference in record, UCLA and Northwestern are similar teams in the KenPom rankings. Good defenses and average offenses. Being that are similar teams, UCLA is still a decent favorite on the road. Northwestern is playing well winning 3 in a row and all by double digits. Their 3 wins have come against 3 so so teams. UCLA is definitely better than those 3 teams.

Wisconsin +4.5 (-120)

1:30PM: These 2 teams have played better than expected all year. Michigan St is tied for the lead in the Big Ten and Wisconsin is in 3rd only 2 games behind Michigan St. Wisconsin does need this game for Big Ten standings only being up 0.5 games on Maryland and Purdue for 3rd place. Michigan St is coming off a buzzer beater win at Maryland. That game was hard fought and came down to the wire against the 16th ranked team. Now they have to rebound from that emotional win and play number 11 Wisconsin. I think Wisconsin can keep it close and possibly win.
