1:00PM: This is a huge spread. West Virginia is a decent and can beat great teams at any time so this being a big spread is surprising. Texas Tech is coming off a loss to TCU after rising to number 9 in the rankings. They have tremendous guard play and are at home today. West Virginia is coming off a game where they were dominating Cincinnati but let a little bit of a late push to only win by 3. I think Texas Tech has a big bounce back today.
8:00PM: Michigan has been on a roll even though their last 5 wins have come by single digits. It just means they are battle tested and they can win close games. Michigan State was too before losing 2 of the last 5. Their wins have been more dominate than Michigan’s but there has to be a reason why Michigan is a 3.5 point favorite. Which is why I like them and they are at home.
8:30PM: Maryland is at home and they can score, coming off a 100+ point game at home. USC is a pretty average team but can give up points. In their last 4 losses they have given up 69, 90, 77, and 82. I think Maryland could score in the upper 80’s and USC score somewhere in the 70’s. USC is also competing to stay in the Big Ten tournament, only 15 teams out of 18 make the tournament. Currently they are only 1 game ahead of the 15th place team so look for them to score tonight.
9:00PM: Marquette has only won 1 of the last 4 games and really have not been playing well. In comes Seton Hall into Milwaukee. Seton Hall is coming off a 1 point win against Uconn. That was their first win in over a month and only 2nd win in the Big East. Marquette needs to beat up on someone and this couldn’t be a better situation for them. They also need to keep pace with Creighton and St. John’s in the Big East.
10:00PM: Arizona rose up to 13th in the country and have since lost 2 straight. They need a win here and what a time to get it against a tough Baylor team in Baylor. After Houston, the Big 12 is up for grabs so Arizona needs to keep pace to stay within range of Houston and put the other teams away.
